Annals Academy of Medicine A 14-year-old, otherwise healthy boy presented with a skin nodule for the past 3 years which slowly lifted up the right fourth fi ngernail. The lesion was tender to palpation. He denied any previous trauma and there was no family history of similar lesions. Physical examination revealed a fi rm, fl esh-coloured, tender, hyperkeratotic nodule, protruding distally on the medial aspect of his right fourth fi nger, approximately 6 mm in diameter. The nail plate was markedly elevated but appeared normal (Fig. 1). What is the diagnosis? a. Glomus tumour b. Subungual verruca c. Subungual fi broma d. Subungual exostosis e.
